Create an iPhone icon

iPhone currently uses the mobile safari browser and your visitors will want to add your site to their home screen. It is actually pretty simple to create a custom icon in order to accomplish this. If you do not have an icon saved on your site, the iPhone will simply use a small version of your website as the icon.

Step One: Create the Icon.
Using a graphics software program, create an image that is 158 x 158 pixels. The rounded corners and glossy look will automatically be applied to your icon.

Step Two: Save the Icon.
This will need to be a .png file and named 'apple-touch-icon.png'. Once the file is saved, upload it to the root of our website. You do not have to do anything else. The iPhone will automatically look for this .png file when users add your site to their home screen.

HRMC HD Video Shoot

An impressive day at Highlands Regional Medical Center as we prepare for and produce TV Commercials. The video shoot is for HRMC's "We're Here" advertising campaign. A big thank you to all involved. The cooperation of hospital staff, patients and video crew made this a huge success.

Final TV spots will be posted in the next couple of weeks.

Note: These spots were directed and produced by Jason Epperson. Jason was runner up in the reality TV show "On The Lot." Jason is currently working on a couple of feature films yet took the time out to work with Media Makers to direct TV Commercials for Highlands Regional Medical Center.

The "RED"

Media Makers has been introduced to the "RED" camera. WOW!!! Probably as close to film as digital HD can get. The "RED" was used to produce a TV commercial for one of our clients. It will be tough to use anything else. The preliminary footage we were able to view was stellar.

Information about the RED...

The idea behind the RED camera system is simple. Design and build a high performance digital cine camera with the quality of 35mm film and convenience of pure digital. RED delivers unmatched image quality with no recording system limitations.
